So following on from a previous post about my new found love of the 'jumpsuit' I decided to venture on and try a few more styles.

JUMP 1

ASOS DESIGN spot print tea jumpsuit in linen look with side tie detail

This was the only one I chose which wasn’t in the ‘tall’ section, maybe because it was a three quarter length style I thought I could possibly get away with buying from the standard range. It worked this time, the length fitted just right. Not too short in either body or legs!

The fabric was quite thick linen, but loose enough to not be too heavy. Ideal for the UK summer I thought, when it’s trying to be summer but actually it feels more like spring or autumn. It had a nice wide fitted waistline which I think emphasised the female curves just right, it also had a v-neck; low enough to show off a little cleavage but not too much you were falling out of it.

It think this jumpsuit would look great teamed up with either a pair of black sleek stilettos or if your feeling brave a bright fuchsia pink or neon green pair of block sandals, matching handbag and / or lippy would obviously be a great way to explode some more colour into the look.

The next purchase was from the tall section and was indeed a great length. I particularly loved the vibrant colour in the print work along with the wide leg style of the trousers. It was a pretty ‘out there’ choice but it felt great on and made me think of the long (& hot!) summer holidays I still craved.....

The back on this jumpsuit was funky with a low cut v-neck style held together by a tiny button. I rather like these fashionable low cut back styles, I sometimes find these more sexy than having them at the front, especially with the right silhouette. They give a more ‘elegantly’ sexy feel to the look, a more subtle take on it I think.

The fabric was loose, floaty and felt cool against my skin, yet it still had that clinched in waistline fo that feminine touch. Perfect for the hot weather or possibly more realistically a long summer vacation. I think I would definitely rock this out abroad.

Personally I think this jumpsuit would be a great outfit for either a daytime beach look: hair tied up with some cute casual sandals, or glammed up with some high sexy wedges & messy beach waves for an alternative evening vibe.

JUMP 3

To be honest this was one of my faves. It hadn’t been when I had first purchased them all but it was one of those outfits you instantly feel great in as soon as you wear it.

Again I liked the wide leg look and slightly tighter waist, it made me feel curvier and feminine without any effort really; I do love this about jumpsuits. The colour although mainly black, was a more subtle colour splash than my previous choice.

I think this one would work much better for me in the UK, I could team it up with some funky converse and a denim jacket for the daytime or instead some bright red heels and a fitted leather jacket for a night-time version.

JUMP 4

Number four was a bit of a wild card, purely in the sense that I wasn’t sure how it would look and also if white was a particularly a great idea... I’ve seen many a clothing ‘accident’ when it comes to white, especially living with two boys who seem to love this colour, it’s almost like magnet for spagbol and chocolate.

The fit was much looser all over with a tie waist and spaghetti straps. I’m not normally keen on a tie waist as it just gives me something else to think about, or loose!! The straps however were cute and loose, giving a very cool summer vibe.

With all these new found jumpsuits, I think I’m gonna have to start taking at least two or three hot summer vacations every year, just to get the wear out of them all...but that doesn’t sound like a terrible idea. Although perhaps the thought of having to get two jobs to pay for them all kinda does though!! Have you got a favourite holiday jumpsuit you’d never go away without?!?! Feel free to share them with me, I’d love to get some more ideas and inspiration...after all they're like shoes; you can never have too many...!

Happy Shopping! L
