Weddings, well what can I say, they are quite possibly the best event in the calendar that pretty much anyone can be a part of. I must admit I, for one, LOVE a good wedding and totally enjoy trying on an array of outfits for the occasion, it gives me a chance to try and experiment with some gorgeous dresses…or even jumpsuits! Although I have to admit I am yet to wear a Jumpsuit to a wedding (note to self!!)

So I thought on this occasion I would share with you a few of my recent Wedding outfit choices and also the #winningdesign. Here we go:

Guest List A Class

So my first look was a nude body-con dress with a one shoulder fold detail and frill hemline. I chose this particular design mainly because of the colour; nude / dusty pink is not really my thing as I think you need an excellent tan to pull it off well. However on this occasion I thought ‘why not’ and to be honest I liked the look… The thickness and overall feel of the fabric was great, I believe it’s called ‘scuba’ fabric which I must admit I am loving at the moment. It’s thick and very elasticated so fits smoothly over the body and curves. The only thing with choosing a pale colour is underwear, so this little number would definitely need a little more thought involved, maybe a pair of Bridget Jones to eliminate those cheeky seams showing through or if you’re brave enough, #gocomando…….

I think if I was going to wear this dress, I would definitely have to team it up with a shocking coral or plum lippy & black heels…or maybe even leopard print would work!!!! I think the paleness of the dress would need to be uplifted by a bit of colour somewhere else, but that’s just my opinion. I think sometimes subtlety can work even better…….

Guest List B Class

Now outfit choice B, although I must admit very similar in a lot of the styling to A; both are body-con fit, scuba fabric & display a frill hemline. They also have two distinct differences which transform the overall look entirely. This one has a bandeau neckline and obviously is so bright, I could probably class this as HI-VIS safety wear (maybe my husband needs one for his work!!!)

To be honest it was the colour and the frill hemline which caught my eye and are definitely my favorite bits about this outfit. I think if you teamed this up with some very minimal accessories it would look fantastic, because it’s all in the dress and the colour.

Although saying that perhaps a gold clutch and some gold high heels would work pretty well with this design, or even maybe even a pair of leopard print heels as with outfit A. If I had my way you’d put a little bit of leopard print with every outfit!!!!!

Guest List C Class

So now we come to option C…now what a reversal on style this one is. Now admittedly this was definitely a spur of the moment purchase. I saw it on ASOS and literally loved it immediately, so before I knew it, I had pressed BUY!!! I absolutely love the Grecian style to this dress and the back is gorgeous. Now it did take me a while to put on but once I had I still loved it. It’s a little bit risky for me for a wedding but I think if I had the courage, maybe purchasing a stick on / strapless bra I think that this design would totally rock at a wedding…….

Teamed up with some delicate head-wear and maybe some flat sandals this look would be great for maybe a beach / abroad wedding or maybe even a fancy beach party in Ibiza!! Oh the possibilities...….
