Recently one Saturday afternoon when we had no plans (which makes an unusual change for us!) we decided to be a little spontaneous and go out for an early dinner date.
Now as you know I love a good old dinner delight with the hubby as it always means that I can get dolled up in some kinda posh frock….or as I’ve mentioned in a previous post a posh Jumpsuit, and tonight’s outfit choice was along that theme again!!!
This little black No was purchased from ASOS and is a fantastic alternative to the LBD…. So introducing the new LBJ (but perhaps not the best of abbreviations there!!!) maybe the new LBSJ instead:
This was one of those purchases that as soon as I tried it on, I absolutely LOVED it. Everything about it, the length (both body and legs fitted spot on, and it was in the standard collection, not the TALL section!), the fit and the fabric were all perfect, and even the cut was particularly flattering. Combine all those with the fact that this outfit choice was practically effortless it was kind of a no brainer really. I put it on, and I was literally almost ready to go…….
Because of the all black I decided to spice the look up with a bright ¾ length sleeve coral jacket, some sexy coral heels and matching bright lippy. Now this lipstick has been one of my all-time BEST EVER purchases (and seeing as I am now over 40, there have been many of those!) This lipstick is an easy 2 step routine that is quick and simple to apply (I have done it in the car whilst hubby drives, rushing somewhere because I made us late!!), it also remarkably lasts the night regardless of what you eat or drink and best news ever is the fact that they have an endless supply of different colours. Let’s just say I think I maybe buying a few more of these to say the least:
Team all the above up with some cool accessories in gold to make the outfit a little bit funkier & I think I may have nailed it.

Then add hubby on the arm in a blue jacket, grey jumper, pink shirt and jeans and you have the perfect dinner date combo couple, que cheesy smiles and summer sunshine....... Check his jacket out at ASOS;
So having such an effortless outfit choice also meant that I was ready in half the time, which in my husband’s eyes is literally #winningateverything L
